New car wash in Twistringen (Jan. 2023) What was previously a glass house is now a car wash. Interior walls were created with the Excellent Panel wall system (500 x 35 mm).

Twistringen – In this country, washing a car is usually a rather pragmatic affair. In, wash, maybe a little wax, out. In America, it can be more exciting, with colourful lights and effects. The Misini family business wants to give the whole thing more pizzazz in Twistringen, too. A new car care centre will soon open on the corner of the B51 and Osterkamp.

The centrepiece is a 35-metre-long car wash. “It’s like a carpet,” enthuses managing director Hetem Misini, pointing to the wide conveyor belt. Then he takes a few steps further to a huge round brush. Instead of bristles, hundreds of blue rags hang from it, shaped like hands. “This is brand new, it’s like hand washing.”

The Misini family has been running a car care centre in Vechta since 2000. “When you’ve been in the business that long, you want to have something nice and offer something special,” Hetem Misini tells us. That’s why future customers in Twistringen will soon be able to drive through Lava! Well, almost. Red LEDs illuminate the water that trickles down onto the cars.
